What the guarantee covers

VPS and bare metal service, and the power/network side of every colocation rack, are guaranteed to be available at least 99.982% of the time in any calendar month — a little over 8 minutes of allowable downtime. If we fall short, an account credit is applied automatically; you don't need to notice the outage yourself or file a claim.

For colocation, this SLA covers the facility's power and network delivery to your rack. It does not cover the uptime of hardware you own and operate — that's between you and your equipment, though our remote-hands team is available to help troubleshoot it.

Service credits

If actual uptime in a given month falls below 99.982%, we apply a credit toward your next invoice based on how far short we fell:

Monthly uptimeService credit
99.9% – 99.981%10% of that month's fee
99.0% – 99.89%25% of that month's fee
Below 99.0%50% of that month's fee

Credits post to your account automatically within one billing cycle. Scheduled maintenance windows, announced at least 72 hours in advance, aren't counted against the guarantee.

How we get there

Every facility Xervera operates from is built or selected to Tier III design standards: N+1 redundant power and cooling distribution, multiple carrier-neutral network paths, and the ability to perform maintenance without a full shutdown. See the Datacenters page for the full breakdown of what that means facility by facility.

Bare metal and colocation customers get remote KVM/IPMI or physical rack access respectively, so hardware-level issues can usually be diagnosed and resolved without waiting on a scheduled visit.

Monitoring, around the clock

Power, network, and platform health are monitored continuously, with automated alerts paging our on-call NOC the moment something degrades — often before a customer notices. Live status for every service is published on our status page.
